Crawdad cove??

has anyone been to crawdad cove or boxcar cove recently? Last time I was there the road conditions were absolutely horrible. I tried to call lake meads information center and they told me I was on my own and if I got my truck stuck its my own problem. Does anyone know how the road is currently?

I haven't been there in a while, but Lake Mead has risen about 25 vertical feet since August, so I'm sure those roads are much shorter now.

Not so much the distance im worried about but the terrain. When I was there last the road was pretty torn up and that was around last june.

I haven't been down there in about as long as you. The roads were pretty crappy.

I went down there around April last year. Thought my Ford Focus would not have made it in several soft sandy areas and deep potholes. Good thing I have experience 4-wheeling, I probably would have gotten stuck.

Nice fishing area and I caught some striper but driving o that crappy dirt road is not worth tearing up my vehicle.

I used to go to crawdad about twice a month to camp and fish. The rt oad has gotten bad ever since they kicked out the volunteer Pearl that took care of everything. People used to get 35ft trailers down there with no issues when he was grading the road!
