I have heard a lot of good things about Okuma. I am thinking of trying to find a couple of light baitcasters...left hand retrieve. Do you have a website link for them? I'm lazy sometimes.

[cool]Thanks for the links, Brian. I can get lost looking at reels. However, I didn't find any there like I am looking for. I have built 4 medium light baitcasing rods, for fresh water, and I need to replace some old Shimanos and Ambaseurs. They used to make them in lite sizes, but I can't find any good ones anymore that do not cast a house payment.

I am not running short of tackle, but I would like to add a couple of the light baitcasters to my collection. I started playing with using that instead of spinning on some 1/16 oz and 1/8 oz jigs...with 6# line. It is just as much fun on the smaller fish, but handles the big bass and cats a lot better when they foul up and eat my small jigs.

[cool]Nice lookin' reels. I know a couple of the guys in Utah who have picked one up and love it. The word is that they are well made and super smooth.

I am looking for something under 10 oz. and low profile. I will probably have to go with a Shimano Bantam again. Although I think they have changed the names to something more exotic...maybe the Curado.
