went out to the american fork boat harbor this morning and got on the ice a t 7 am, still dark we started fishing some holes that were already drilled and fishing was pretty good from then on to about ten thirty. i had to work at noon so i couldnt stay longer but i did end up with 11 nice gills 5 perch 7 crappie and 4 white bass, its was a good variety of species pretty fun but very rainy and wet. caught them all on halis and live forage minnow spoons.

Glad we turned around this morning 1/2 way there. Only two of us were prepared for the conditions.

How thick is the ice and how about getting on and off thinking of heading there in the morning with my son safe enough for a youngster?

[cool][#0000ff]Attaching a map that shows the approximate location of the bubbleup. The buoys are not there now but will be put back after the ice goes away.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Some good catfish all along the flats between Lindon and the bubbleup...and beyond. You can get them off the bank with a bubble and bait when the spawn is on...Juneish.[/#0000ff]

The ice is broken up with open water where the channel opens up into the lake.

That's good you got into them. I am thinking about Mon. morn. The thick ice of the main lake all gone in that area?
