Started around Waterfront and it was slow until Offshore set the hook and said "Big fish and its taking drag" About 10 minutes later and after almost getting spooled, a rattletrap tail hooked 15 lb carp comes to the top. What a moose. It was pretty slow the rest of the day as we ended up with 10 fish total with the best 5 weighing about 18 lbs. The best fish were caught late, very shallow (1-3 feet), on muddy wind blown banks on chatter baits. Never got bit on the Arig today which was surprisng as it's all they would bite for us last week. Always a pelasure to fish with my son, even if it's a slow day. Off shore is now heading to Vegas for a week so maybe he can get lucky and win enough for me to retire.
