Went out to steed pond before work on monday morning to put some of my new knowledge from the fly fishing show to good use. I got into a few fish just little planter bows, was hoping for my ever LMB. It was still fun to get some on the fly rod though since my last few times out on the weber river I was skunked. So I ended up with about 7 little bows and one a little bigger around 15 inches. Forgot how fun it is to catch them on a fly rod. I got them all on a black wolly bugger. Will have to go back soon to try again for those LMB!

Steve, on ponds try one of Byron's Chrystal killers in Chartreuse. A basic bugger but pheasant tail tail. It works for Bass for me. Or something in Olive.

Can't find any pictures, but like I said, just a woolly bugger with pheasant tail TAIL fibers for the tail. Chartreuse and Red Crystal chenille and furnace hackle.
I tied mine up on maybe a #6 Streamer.
