I just spent a couple of days at Oxbow. The bass fishing was good enough to keep your interest. I did talk to a guy who had a 50 fish day. I believe him because I seen him catch 17 in a section of shore line that i had gone down and caught 3.

The Crappie fishing is not happening at this time.

Oxbow is usually hot this time of year. The smallies really get going. I just hope no one was keeping any bass. Catch and release until July and then only two over 16".

new guy here ron.your question about the cats in oxbow.we fish oxbow every year the middie of may and do very well from the dam down a mile. biggest around 10 lbs for bait try pike minnows deepcreek
