Hogs are back at Camas
#1
Other than wind, had a great day out at Little Camas today. A multitude of 13" fish, but under the radar we discovered that the Hogs are back! Hopefully the water levels will stay up this year and it will only get better. Could have uploaded a lot more pics, but you get the idea.

Nice! Did you ever get over to Grasmere? Ron

No, I never managed to get there last spring. The time I had planned for it would have been a muddy mess. I still have it penciled in along with Little Blue Creek on my to do list. How about you?

I stopped in and looked at it when driving be last winter. I haven't fished it yet. I saw a IDFG research paper on Blackstone res. It showed bass and trout. I am still hoping to fish Grasmere and maybe hit Blackstone. I don't know if Blackstone ever went dry. Ron

I fished grasmere last spring for a couple hours. Didn't find any fish, saw no sign of fish . Water clarity was super murky so that could have been a factor in the poor fishing

It has always a milky look no mater the time of year. I have heard that scented bait is the best. Like power bait and worms. Ron

A buddy and I went there two weeks ago and had a ball. Happy to see there still is some action. Out of curiosity, were you fly fishing? If so, what were you using?
