Boise area bait/tackle shops?
#1
Guys,

I'm curious what there are for bait/tackle shops in or near Boise/Nampa/ect? Mainly interested in a shop(s) that specialize in warmwater fishing. I've searched and found quite a few fly shops, but for now, I'm pretty green to that.

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Sportsman's Warehouse and also Cabela's in Boise have a large selection of warmwater tackle.

Canyon marine in nampa is decent, howards will have more than anyone else in the valley. The selection at cabelas is decent since they redid the fishing area, sportmans has good stuff also. Dicks sporting goods sometimes has really good sales, stop if you pass by.

Try Turners in Boise. Off of State Street. And, just maybe you can talk to someone about the fishing.

And they are both local idaho businesses.

Sounds good. I'm excited to look around, maybe get to chat with some people about the local water.

If anyone wants to grab a beer and talk fishing/hunting ect, I'm more than willing to buy the first couple rounds...

Cheers,
Andy

Cabela's will do ship to store for free, so if there's something in their catalog or on their web site that's not in the store you can still get it without having to pay shipping fees. You will have to pay sales tax no matter how you order, though.
