Went up to manuta with a friend from work and JLG78, got the tubes in the water by 7am and hit the south shore with not much going on in the shallows. Jay was off in his toon so I couldnt keep up.Headed toward deeper water throwing lots of different buggers and NOT a single hit. Cruised back toward the docks and west dock and not a thing. Went back to the south shore and then it was on. A caddis with a pheasant tail was all they wanted and landed around 20+ fish and my friend around 30+ for the last hour or so. Got one decent sized fish and huge leg workout man was I tired!

it might be a long finnin' - but I found pretty good Gill action both in the SW corner, and the NE corner. If you're tubing it - suppose you could just launch off the courtesy docks around the N or S side of the lake.
That one's a chunky one! So do you have one of them action cam's?
Try any poppers? Double drop-pop?

Right on Steve. I will down size all the time if the fish are being picky. Nymphs work. I know the saying of big flies means big fish, but doesn't always work.
That is why the Haresear off a bugger/streamer/leech is my go to.

Glad you guys found the fish! I had one of the worst days there ive had in a long time.. Did the fish start biting when it warmed up? I left at 1030 with not much to brag about.
