Spring Bluegill Video!!!

Bluegill Video:

http://www.youtube.com/...nZ0&feature=youtu.be

I had a great time fishing for bass and bluegill in Preston this year. I spent about four days fishing down there. My latest trip was Wed night, Thur. morning.

I am happy to report that the bluegill are getting bigger at Johnson. I would still encourage people to keep some there and at Winder in order to keep the recovery coming along. We fished other places as well and I was not disappointed with any of them.

The video is focusing on bluegill, but we did catch plenty of bass on top water poppers and senkos. Have you ever caught stocker trout on Senkos? I caught five the other day while bass fishing.

Hope you enjoy the video.

Very nice WindRiver! It's great seeing the family out catching some very nice BG's!

Your editing with the Gopro has come along very nicely as well!

Great video, I ran into you Thursday morning, I was in the U-tube and had my sun mask on over my face. You guys were in an area I did really well on the week before. There are some very nice 'gills in there, we caught several that were over 10". I hope I didn't infringe in your space or comfort zone, I was trying not to get too close. Next time I'll introduce myself.

Dang I wish I would have known that was you. I thought you were very respectful of space. After you went on by they turned on. It was a fish every cast if you could make a 30 ft cast between limbs around a tree and all without catching your back cast on trees 15 ft behind you. [Wink]
