I did well on saturday so i headed back out to find the perch. Fished the same spot and did not get a perch to bite. I did get a 17 in rainbow off a jig and an 18 in whitefish. Moved to a few more spots and did not get a bite. Went back about 8pm to that perch spot and caught one perch 12 in long. Where O where did my perchies go.

I did try deeper. I used my structure scan and searched for fish in a few places and also just dropped anchor and fished. I did see some fish on bottom where i caught taht one perch maybe that small cold snap and wind messed them up. I will keep after it and the yall know.
Also after further research it was not a whitefish but a pikeminnow that i caught that was 18 inches

I agree... Please get back out tonight and let me know by morning.
I hate to roll the dice on an entire weekend.

If it is not tooooo windy tonight i will head back out. I live in Mtn Home and mostly fish CJ. I fish about three bodies of water but normally CJ about every week. Sometimes from a boat sometimes from the bank.
My work is having a fish fry on the 30th with a small crappie/perch tourney on the 29th. I just hope we can feed people more than a taste. We might have to get some hamburgeers and hotdogs. It has got to pick up soon.
I will keep the posts coming!
