Any new info/reports on resevoirs besides Glendale?

I was at Oneida on Tuesday. It is full to the top with alot of debris floating around. Spent about 4 hours and only caught 6 walleye and 1 smallie, nothing of any size really. Also went to Condie and it is dropping fast. You can still probably get a boat in and the bank fishing is almost not an option due to about 8 to 10 feet of moss packed around the edges. Fishing the edge of that moss we were catching some pretty decent fish with rapalas and some top water in the evening.

Fishing has been pretty good. I caught these this past week.

I went to condie today as well as winder and treasurton. Condie is super low looks like the launch ramp was about dry. Didnt fish it as I just didnt feel like dealing with all the moss.. Treasurton is also extreamly mossy not as low as condie but pretty low fished there with no luck. There is also some blue mildew all over the lake.. And winder is real low well and also very mossy. Bad time of year for the reservoirs in the area..

Hit Condie this evening just after a big storm passed through. I left Hyde Park at 97 degrees and arrived at the lake at 77!

Unfortunately, I couldn't establish a rhythm. I caught 7 bass, the largest being 17". I have enjoyed staying til dark and enjoying some topwater action, but tonight it was breezy and I only coaxed 2 to bite...

All that being said, others had good luck that I spoke to at the ramp. I apparently have a very limited arsenal of skills and tackle, so if what I trust isn't working, I just keep plugging away at it anyhow.

I hit it Friday evening for a little bit. I was really looking forward to a good evening topwater bite, but it actually seemed to slow down towards evening. I did catch some on top, but didn't land any over 14" on top. I did catch a crappie on top, and I had 3 huge, explosive strikes, they just didn't hook up.

The other frustrating thing was that my float tube died for good. I got over to my spot, caught a nice bass on the first cast, and then I noticed my tube had lost air on one side. I trudged through the moss so I could top it off. I got it all blown up, and then the zipper that holds it in place separated. I deflated it, worked the zipper back down to where I got the two sides together, blew the whole thing up by mouth, sat down in it, and the thing burst again. I deflated it, tried to work the zipper together, but to no avail. I spent the rest of the night with the bladder bulging out all huge and floppy on one side. It made fighting the wind a lot tougher and I was shifting my weight to compensate the whole night, which pissed off my back. I'm looking at getting a Fish Cat now.

Fishing was still pretty good, not as fast as Tuesday, but I still managed 35 with some good ones. Best went 17.5".

That's good to hear. I'm contemplating splurging and getting a Fat Cat. I'm about 220lbs with my waders and boots on, plus I bring a ton of gear, so it might be worth the cost. For how much I get out in my tube I think it's about time I got a quality one.

You might be right the larger one would probably be better. I built a fish finder holder that can fit on those or my pontoons. I like it a lot. Ron

That's a nice setup you have there. I'm thinking that the fat cat is close enough in shape to my old one that I can hook up my rod holders and fishin buddy on it without any modifications. Getting a fish finder made such a difference. I used to barely use my float tube, but once I got a fish finder my success increased dramatically.
