CARP..... who thought they would be so awesome too shoot with a bow..... it was HOTT though..... Sat. was yes alittle windy, carp fishing wasn't good for us, we ended of 35 with 206 lbs, from 8-50th place there was only maybe 75lbs or so, I think there was 63 boats total, it was a blast, I won a new bow in the raffle at the very end of the tourney they raffle 2 bows off for the contestants that didn't make it in the money, which was the top 15 places, the bottom payout for 15th was $80 and the winner got $1700 I think, the the money was staggered in between..... was awesome.... loved it, check out the Idaho Bowfishing Association for the results and pics,

I am curious....what do they do with all the carp, or do you have to take care of it yourself?

Usually they give fish away to local farmers for fertilization . $1700 sounds really nice for fishing [fishin]

yea its a nice payout..... they gave it too a fish food company, local guy I guess... sent a truck out and a loader, so they always do something like that,

1 question? what was the biggest this year?any over 50. we fished the snake that day and didnt see a carp in the lake until around 1. just too windy too see them.
