Sunday at Newton
#1
Met a couple of my best buddies at Newton Sunday morning to chase Tigers and Bass. The first timer was the only one to catch a tiger, a 36 incher to boot, and he caught the biggest Bass, they ranged from 6" to 14". Great day on the water. Oh, and Yote, we did find the perch but had to wade through a lot of little ones to catch a few decent ones. The fish are stacked up on each other in certain spots according to the fish finder.
The pictures aren't the greatest, I used my phone.

Nice! I was planning on goin there Sunday but I had boat problems so I ended up just shore fishing pineview. I need to get up there soon though! Looks like the fishing wasn't too bad.

Thanks for the heads up.
Bit early for "fall" fishing, but I'd heard that water was "that" low! Hip hip hooray!! It's an Anglers Lake again!

Sounds like you got into a fair few fish. Good going!

Now if I'll just stop playing chicken with the pig . . .

Ya you are right about being an anglers lake again, but there were still a few of the power squad that dared launch, but that's the easy part. Recovering your boat is the interesting situation, I didn't stick around long enough to see if one of the bigger boats got out OK. There were some that backed down the ramp got out and looked it over then pulled out and left. I didn't have any problem launching or loading my 15' resorter on the side of the ramp, didn't even spin a wheel.
