Took a kid I was working with there last year. He's from Las Vegas and drove down andback in one day to get his fly fishing gear.Tried to fish the LP at the trestle,Had a guy float by 4 feet from me and ask" How's the fishing?" I said it sucked and he says "Must suck to be you old man" What a trashy sorry place! Beer cans and dirty diapers under every bush! NEVER go fish the Provo again! Too bad nobody can regulate stupidity and assholes!

That's awful. Sadly, however, I'm not surprised.

We went to the MP about a month ago on a Sundee trying to catch the end of the green drake hatch. Only saw 2 tubers and there was surprisingly not that much fishing traffic. No such luck on the hatch, but we got a ton of little ones nymphing (nothing over 12" though). Haven't felt a stong desire to go back since then. I don't know what's good right now besides the warm water for bass and carp... but I don't know if that counts as real fishing to some people.. lol

Amen the tube hatch! Dot even bother fishing it on a sat. That's fashion show day, no one there is even knows how to fly fish. they just need an excuse to put on some expensive gear and wave around a 1000 dollar rod they don't know how to use. That's why I got my waders from cabela's and I wrapped my own rod! [Wink] the Provo can be very productive if you know where to go and what to use. I will be there Monday if your interested pm me and maybe we can land a few together.
