Jmax, Chick, pre-fishing for the CBA, Bass, 7/30/12, alone

I was not going to post today since I was pre-fishing for the CBA but as you will see I think this one will be alright to post.....<br /><br />Let's see...I will start by saying after mine and Derek's bust the other night at the TVBC tournament I wanted to get back out and try my luck again. I found some fish but mostly eliminated water. I put about 15 or 16 in the boat but most today were short. I did have seven keepers but not much size. I had two 3's, a couple about 2.5 and a couple more at 2. Afraid my best five would have only gone around 13.5/14 lbs. emoRolleyes Not a very good showing but better then the other night. I caught bass from 5 foot to about 43 foot. Does that narrow it down for you? emoBig I caught them on spooks, t-rigged big worms, cranks, shakey and drop shot. About the only thing I threw a bunch they did not bite was a frog. emoRolleyes I could find no area where they seemed to be loaded up and mainly just was able to trash fish with one here and one there.<br /><br />I hope to find something better between now and this weekend but my big fish seem to have left the areas I was catching them in. emoBawl I knew it was coming but hoped it would have lasted until the water cooled. Not looking too good for us this month of August. Jmax
