We put about 16hr in sturgeon fishing above cj without one bite. We tried fresh cut bait worms pickled herring and shrimp, nothing. we didnt see any of the other boats get a fish so atleast it wasnt just us.
We did manage to catch a few cats some perch and alot of bass thank goodness for our 2 pole permits. One cat I will try to post a pic of it may be a small flathead. All I can say is go below the dam.

that sucks. at least you got some bass action.tried to give you the only spot i see them caught

I found the holes I even marked some sturgeon on the finder. I figure ill try to go back in October.

IMHO - In the heat of the summer they don't start biting till an hour or two after dark - during the day they just don't tend to put on the feed bag when the temps are above 90

I've only fished the area in Scout Park directly below the dam. I always seem to loose more hardware than its worth. Do you know any other areas nearby?
