E-mail notifications

Hey is anyone else not being notified of replies to your posts lately? I checked my settings and I think it was set correctly. I haven't seen any notification all weekend and was just curious if it's just me. Thanks J

when you post something there will say send email notification on reply and it will be check marked if you dont want it just un check it . [bob][fishon]

The problem then was that the system sometimes hiccups during changes and upgrades and reverts to sending your notices to an old email address. So if you have changed email addresses in the past you might want to check that place in your setup files to make sure it hasn't switched back on you.[/#0000ff]

Hey Jeff, do you have [url "mailto:webmaster@bigfishtackle.com"]webmaster@bigfishtackle.com[/url] in your list of contacts for your Email? If not, it might help to add it.

I don't I'll try adding it and see if it helps I'm not getting any notice again today either. I haven't changed e-mail addresses like TD suggests either, but something seems to have changed. Thanks for the suggestions. J

Look to see if they are being sent to your spam file. Sometimes I have had this happen to me on other sites.

The reason they are going into you spam folder is because you don't have the address I listed above in your list of contacts. If you add it they should go to your regular mail.

Apple isn't as easy to add that so I'm still trying to get it fixed but I appreciate the tip. Thanks J
