lower weber 10/14

Hit the weber yesterday afternoon in hopes to hook into a nice fall brown. I started fishing around 2 in the afternoon below Morgan in the DWR access area. Water was running fairly slow but was murky. Thought I would try out some large streamers, but with no luck. Then again I am new to streamer fishing in rivers, so i may have been doing it all wrong. I tried going with Nymphs (sow bug, prince, PT, Hares ears) with no luck on that either. Anyways as the afternoon went on it was the same old story.. SKUNK! One day I will figure this river out.

Ha don't feel to bad, went up a week ago and same story for me. They were rising within 10 feet of me and couldn't get a single fish. Sad day!
