Dogs are great, and I love mine, but at least a fish finder doesn't need to be feed daily for a decade +, and doesn't leave piles and burned spots on the lawn!

My dog loves to go fishing! He will watch a pole with more dedication then me, although he don't have much patience when it comes to waiting for the rod to bend, but when I do get even the slightest bite he is sure to let me know. When bowfishing he gets excited every time i pull my bow back in anticipation of the slimer on the other end of the line. He can be a pain sometimes but there isn't a better fishing buddy in the world.

By "slimer" I'm betting you mean carp on a bow cuz here in Utah there is no "OPEN SEASON" on bow fishing...just SCUBA diving! Just saying.....

Yes by a slimer I'm referring to Carp, I'm aware of all regulations associated with bowfishing. Don't understand how bows got to be called slimers, Carp are way more slimy.

What do you mean? I thought all dogs could smell fish in the water. But have to admit with the icecap only my lab seems to know where to make a hole to find fish.
