Took the old lady to rp today got there at 830 had a good spot I wanted to start at but on are way out on the 100 yards from where I wanted to go, some snowmobiles pulled up and beat me to it. So I stopped where I was and started to fish at 20' got a nice bow on the ice but was too slow for my liking so we moved to 12' and it was on we caught 9 nice bows in an hr then the action stopped and we headed out. My girl caught the nicest of the day!

That's pretty much right on for the perch. I was in 43 feet of water. The bite started around 1115. By 1230 it turned right off. Lots of fish on the flashed just mo takers. I did see some trout hanging around 20 feet where I was. But for the most part they are in the shallow water.
