I was fishing Candlewood Lake in CT

From your video, it doesn't look like many folks fish there or is it just the direction you are filming? What part of CT is Candlewood Lake in?

Southwestern CT, It gets fished a lot, there wasn't anyone on the lake in that particular section that day.

Must be a big population of big perch in there. Do you always catch perch that big in that lake or did you just find a hot spot?

The lake has a healthy population of big perch. It is also an exceptional smallmouth bass fishery. the abundance of alewives and eurasian milfoil makes that lake what it is
