kayak fishing willow beach?/New to the fourm

I will start by saying i am new to the fourm and my name is tony.I posted this thread because i just bought a kayak and want to see if i can get some striper action out at willow beach.Just wondering if anyone does?Also any tips for fishing the area would be helpfull,thanks.

ive been out once, but i know a few people on this forum have gone out to willow on yaks and had success. Troll and put the time in and youll get a big one!

Welcome to the forum, Tony. Plenty of anglers have had success at Willow on yaks. I'd recommend trolling and casting big baits (6"-12") that look like rainbow trout or shad. It is best to use heavier tackle than you would for bass fishing as there is the potential to hook up with a trophy fish that will tear up your average rod and reel. A lot of guys fish saltwater gear down with 30# line. Search the NV forum with keyword "willow" and you will find some reports for more info.
