Awesome fish! What I like most is that it was released. There is no reason to kill these big cats. This fish was probably over 20 years old. We should make the catch and release records the new mindset with regard to these giant channel cats. Great job!

Very nice catch thier, ive landed several channels of that size and haven't kept one that big yet,with the girth on that thing ill bet it was close to pushing 25lbs. Give him a hand shake from me for letting that beast go!! Imo cats over 6-7i pounds just dont taste that good anyway.
