Stocking Reports (android)
#1
If anyone here is interested, I've just finished a free android app that parses, organizes and displays Nevada's stocking reports. Its been set up to also trigger notifications when new reports have been released. Please let me know if you come across any issues or have any suggestions!

Works good. One issue i found is the MAPs do not seem to query correctly. Not sure if you are basing the feedback on a keyword search to resolve the data. One suggestion would be to put approximate longitude and latitude coordinates in so that regardless of how you pull it, be it browser or map application you will always resolve the same data and can get driving directions.

Not sure how much work it would be but one neat thing you could add would be the NDOW link to the body of water but since they have redone the site i dont know how that would work. That way the person looking for the stocking can also get a little history / education on the body of water.

You did a good job in this, i know i will use it!

Yeah, the way I did the Map It button was a bit hokey. I'll push an update this weekend that'll make it a bit more accurate, then spend some time figuring out the best way to use lat & long like you suggested.

The NDOW suggestion is a great idea. At first glance, it looks like it'd be fairly straight forward to implement. I'll stage it in the update this weekend, and try to get it into the following release.

I appreciate the input!

You're in luck!

Fishing UT - Stocking Report

I had started a thread in the Utah general fishing forum, but the moderators deleted it. Both Utah and Nevada organize their reports similarly so it was pretty easy to port the app over.
