Hello Nevada
#1
I've recently moved from Colorado Waters to Las Vegas Desert and I'm excited to learn the ins and outs of Lake Mead shoreline fishing. I'm accustomed to river fishing, smaller lakes, smaller dams and spillways. Large lake will be a new learning experience for me.

Good luck to everyone, Toni

Good day to all. I don't have a particular fish I prefer to catch. I love to fish/learn about all the different species and what they feed on and how to read the waters to find them. I enjoy catfish and LMB fishing. I've been striper fishing twice but they were with a guide so I've learned very little about that species and how they feed etc. I see the striper site available and I'll definitely check it out.

Thanks for the link to the lake mead info. Thats a huge accumulation of information. Very impressive!

I'm going to get my feet wet this weekend. I'll keep reading your forums and let you know how it goes! Thanks again.

Welcome Toni! You'll fall in love with the desert lakes, too much diversity in the valley and so much great fishing. You're definitely in the right place to hear the good info and secrets about Lake Mead, Lake Mohave, and the Colorado River. There's so much here, I really recommend checking out info about Willow Beach and their trophy stripers, Lake Mohave and the very plentiful smallmouth, largemouth, striper, and catfish population, and of course, Lake Mead with it's endless shoreline and incredible fishing. If you ever have the chance, go to Sandhollow in St. George, Utah (about 1.5 hours), it's one the most productive lakes I've ever been on for largemouth, a real treat man. Anyways, nice to meet you!
