Went up dam as far as I felt safe, just before China Creek and started fishin back along the west shore. No takers till we got to Goose Island and found 3 9" male perch, 1 11.5' spawned out female and a 16" walleye and 1 11" bass.
We got a little wet at the start but the wind was a challenge. Need a bigger or different anchor, always learning.[fishin]

You braved the wind.... Sweet, just be safe... I was planning on bringing the big boat over but I I'm going too Montana for 2 weeks, so I won't be able too make it, maybe we will stop by on the way back...

It has been a spring of wind. I'm glad you caught some with out being blown off the water. Maybe you can get further up to the end you like to fish next time. Isn't the upper area in condition to get into now?
