Decided to sneak out this afternoon for a little while and see if the pattern I got on down at the Nick would work on the Chick. Answer....YES. Between cranking and a big swim bait I boated three over four pounds and a couple smaller ones. Then on a shakey off of points I boated a few more with a couple right at 3 lbs. I would not have had 20 lbs but it would have been very close. I guess I needed Derek or James in the boat with me to get us over 20 lbs. The magic depth was just like the Nick, 17 to 20 feet. Not a bad little outing and the breeze with a slight overcast made it a nice afternoon. Not too hot. Seems here lately I usually do better if I go for fun and am not fishing a tournament. emoDoh There was a lot of wrapped boats and what looked to be pros running around today. A lot of the time they never even stopped, they would come up to a place, go in circles for a while looking at their electronics and then take off for the next spot.<br /><br />Looking forward to the Action Alarms Forth of July dog fight, hope to see a good crowd. emoToast Jmax
