Slough Creek
#1
We are heading to second meadow on Slough Creek the first week of August. Have never flyfished there before. Also going to try Soda Butte and Lamar creeks during the same week. I am interested in any information regarding types and sizes of flies from anyone who has fished these creeks in the past. PM's are great. Thanks for the help.

Try looking here:

http://www.flyanglersonline.com/

under "The Fly Fishing Chronicles of Yellowstone" Tom Travis outlines what to use, where, and when for all those streams.

Let us know how you do, I'm supposed to be heading up there with the fam a week later.

July 25th - 28th (possibly 29th) we are staying in the Madison Campground, but intend on fishing Yellowstone Lake, Lewis River, Lamar River, Yellowstone River, Slough Creek, Soda Butte, and Trout lake.

Also gonna be doing the tourist thing while we are there too.

When and where you gonna be?

Tyedye twins, be sure to camp at the Soda Butte campground and be sure to store all your food in your tent while you sleep.

And just keep driving thru Idaho until you get to Yellowstone, nothing to see there.
