[#0000FF]Good lookin stuff. I used to use some of that for salt water flies when I fished the Sea of Cortez a lot. It was great for the toothy denizens there. But when it came to making flies for the abundant needlefish, I used white Velcro bodies. It tangled in their teeth long enough to get a couple of jumps and a run or two before they came off. Good 'nuff. You really din't want them up close and pers'nal in your tube anyway.
I have been using all kinds of craft store stuff for years...including craft cord and plastic canvas. Lots of good fishy colors and very durable. See pics.

I am not a whit surprised this is nothing new to you - but as I'm not a lure maker, it was to me.
If it sparks an idea for anyone else, my goal is achieved.

Nice find! I have at least 2 miles of P-Cord in my garage. Never thought of using it for lures.

[#0000FF]The tough part is teaching the fish how to pack their own chutes.

[#502800]I have used pink mylar cord threaded over four or five plastic beads on a hook for kokanee squid. Just heat it on the head end and it will shrink to fit.[/#502800]

[#502800]There is no reason that para cord won't do the same thing. You could use white and spot it red with a Sharpie.[/#502800]
[#502800]The one that Rocky sent the picture of, could be a TM catcher.[/#502800]
