I camped up on the way upper provo on the mirror lake highway this last weekend and it was higher than last year cause it was actually flowing . I fished some dries on it since it was so mossy and picked up fish but they are small brookies, got them on yellow humpies and small renegades, I also talked to a guy up there camping by me who said hes been getting a few grayling out of there on dries aswell, I didn't know they were in there but I did not see any proof so im not sure.

Man a grayling would be sweet! That's on my summer bucket list for sure. Nice work on the Brookies, I love catching those bad boys. Even if they are small! Thanks for the update

In early July I hooked something really big east of Kamas not too far and 15ft from the road. I never saw him and fought him/her for 15 minutes. I am guessing a really big brown??

FYI, they do pull a significant amount of water out for irrigation roughly a half mile downstream from where the North Fork comes in. So on low water summers it's best to fish above that. [signature]

I caught my first grayling this summer at Trial, well three of them actually, all on Renegades off the dam. [signature] |
