I dont get on here very much but a few members I talked to today asked me to post up a report so I thought I would. Thanks for the kind words guys! I wish you the best! Fishing has been pretty good the past few days, it usually is this time of year and if your after a big Bear Lake Mac the next few weeks is the time to catch one!
We trolled a mixture of Rapalas and Live Target Lures available up here in Garden City at Pugstones, Darin can get you lined right out on what has been the ticket. Check his website for more info on hours, etc. http://fishingbearlake.com
The ticket the past few days is finding the fish on sonar and staying on them, we noticed variable speeds and varying downrigger depths seemed to help the bite. The fish seem to be more congregated in spots and spread thin in others, depths were varied, caught fish in 65-85 and noticed fish just about all depths, just in different spots.
Hunting season [laugh] has made it hard for me to get out early, but fishing seems good midday, even into the evening.
Good luck everyone, hopefully I will see you on the water with a big one in your boat!
