Hope others have been doing better than I have. I have been skunked the last three times fishing the South marina area. Have only gotten a couple of bites fishing for cats. If anyone has some encouraging news I'm all ears.
When I returned to the parking area DNR were looking at the cleaning station, they reported that the disposal unit was broken so they shut it down. Hope they don't forget to get it fixed before next season.

Wavewolf and I were out there this morning with the same results as you and my first official skunk at Willard since early spring. Last week, I caught one of my largest wipers ever but the stained/muddy water I think is causing the decline in catching success. Today water temp had dropped 10* from last Tuesday. We did talk to another boat out there and they caught a small wiper and a 16 or 17" eye trolling near the North dike at 3.5 mph. I have noticed that if we get four days in a row of stable low wind days, the catching is better. I think this is due to the water dirt particles having a chance to settle, so it is a little clearer. Anyway, I don't think the catching is done for the year but it has slowed way down.

I enjoyed getting out there with you as well CarDell, too bad no catching was involved but hopefully we will get another chance to give it another try before ice fishing season.
