Need help rod builders
#1
I just signed the rod I finished for a friend of mine and let it dry for a few hour(it was an oil sharpie) and went to put the last coat of rod finish on top and it started to run [mad] How can I fix this problem without ruining the finish on the rod. Can I use denatured alcohol and take of the finish and the writing, I sure hope so because this rod came out super nice> PLEASE HELP!!!

Try the alcohol. Toluene, naptha or laquer thinner should get it off. I use a pen and nib with ink. Let it dry and coat it.
It your dead set on a sharpie, try color preservative over it first.
