Another angler and I will be heading to Fish Lake tomorrow. If someone would like to join us and share gas expenses send me a PM. Warning -- we will leave the Bountiful area by at least 4:30 AM and we have been known to fish into the late afternoon to make up for it.

Yes, plus rainbows, plus anything else that might happen to swim by (sucker, brown trout or tiger muskie).

Shucks, I missed out on this one. Just saw this post a little too late is all.
Have fun down there, I hope the wind doesn't blow you off the water.[:p]

Troy, it would be a pleasure to fish with you again. Being blown "off the water" could be worse, we could be "blown into the water".

that could happen. There isn't a lot of snow on the ice right now, and much of the ice is smooth as glass. There is also some open water still. So maybe you will get blown into the water?
Keep a hand on your bucket / chair / shanty / sled / friend / kid.
Have you already got yourself a plan on where you'll be fishing? If you want any suggestions, feel free to send me a message. But, do it quick -- I'm heading home soon....

Being blown into the water is not a concern for me now that I own my deluxe ice cleats. Purchased them last year after doing a triple klutz on Rockport and nearly getting a concussion. PM sent.
