Saved best for last - ice trip

Saved the best for last before putting my ice gear up in the garage rafters today. Went w/two guys who took me to Bluegill Shangrila. Can't say where, as they blindfolded me & stuck me in the trunk. Seemed as tho we cross some RR tracks. Plus, they carried me over some type of fence, and we picked up a ton of burrs. Sworn to secrecy.......they know where I live, where my wife works, and where my daughter attends school. Anyway, fished from 8:30-11:30am, with 53 keepers out of the 60 we yanked. Didn't bucket anything under 6", with the biggest bruisers measuring in at 9+. I don't think it was Pelican, 'cuz the drive wasn't long enough. Ice was 12" solid, but had to hop, skip & jump to get on deck. Best ice outing I had all season, what a way to go out! Enclosing a pic of the two kidnappers. Nice pile of fish. I was hoping for one last trip myself, but I think it might not happen. Had to work today, and from what I hear, it looks as if the lakes every where, are starting to look bad around the edges or slushy. Looks like a good way to end the season.
