Deer creek trolling invite

I know it's last minute but if you want to join me tomorrow (sat) @ deer creek for some trolling pm me I plan to be there at 7 30 am I have all the tackle. My buddy has to work so I'm still going I live in draper we can meet here or at the lake.

Hey Tom, yea that was fun fishing at bear lake. You guys know that lake for sure nice lake trout you caught by the way. Deer creek is a stone throw away I was looking to go to the gorge but I just got done too late with work. Keep in touch and don't forget about getting up to the gorge in May.

Hey duckdog yea it was pretty steady on the rainbows we probably caught right around 30 we fished till 3 pm great day on the lake.

Is all the ice gone? All of the rams open? Any additional info you can add?

Both ramps are open the ice is about gone, the ice that was there early in the morning was disappearing pretty quick I bet what is left will be gone in a day or two. Water temp when I left was 43 there is one dock in at the state park. As far as fishing we had our best rainbow fishing just out side rainbow bay and by the dam near the rocky shore the fish were up the surface all day. We used rapalas and color didn't seem to matter. We used one of my down riggers and the surface trolled lures out fished it 5 to 1. Hope that helps.
