DC ice pics (pics finally added)
#1
Fished DC on saturday the 8th with my friends Art and Karen.
Launched at the big State Park and made our way towards Charleston. To get to Charleston we had to break ice through two fairly large areas. The ice was only about 1" thick and very rotten.
The weather was awesome without even a trace of wind. Fishing was very good also.
The Charleston bay had tons of carp rising so I hope the bow fisherman get up there and kill'em all.
I sent a friend up there sunday and he reported back all ice is gone.

[#800000]Do you think you could re-post them rotated 90 degrees? It's very difficult to rotate my monitor to view the pictures as they should be viewed. Just sayin'.[/#800000]

I am not sure what you mean, when I click on them they appear correctly.
Maybe I messed something up a moderator can fix?

[green]If you're gonna rotate them, rotate them 360°.[/green]

They're fine.

Good, I hope you all enjoy them.
I'm just glad our boats didn't get scratched up from our little stunt.

[#800000]I did a little more digging. When I look at your post using IE 11 and click on the pictures, they both show up as rotated to the left and look like this.

But if I look at your post using Firefox 27.0.1, the pictures are seen like they should be.

So for some reason, IE is using a different orientation system than does Firefox. Did you take the pictures using a cell phone by chance? Unlike cameras, I believe cell phones will orientate the picture to always show up on the cell phone as you would see them with your eyes regardless of the orientation of the phone. And apparently, Firefox can do the same thing while IE only sees it from the upright position of the phone. But not being a geek, I'm only guessing.

I only take pictures with my camera, so I'm always mindful of the orientation when I post them. If I turn my camera on end, the pictures taken will always be rotated left or right 90 degrees and I will rotate them back in Photobucket before posting them on a forum.

Anywho SB, my bad; I guess I should have looked at them using Firefox instead of IE. Just out of curiosity, did you folks that saw the pictures with no rotation view the thread using Firefox or something other than IE?

The photos that you post show up normal. I can't see what you're complaining about.

Cell phone.
I am not a computer guy and everything else you talked about is a foreign language to me.
I only know how to catch stuff, shoot stuff, and build/fix stuff.

I wish everyone would post their pictures via Photobucket (FREE AND EASY) or whatever.
If there is more than one picture link posted, I don't bother.
This is the only forum that does this.

Probably, but the time it takes this forum to load up all the ads and videos, just a little too much.
Did you know you can get YOUR pictures from Photobucket anywhere and any computer. Even if your computer crashes, you will not loose your pictures.
