Fished near the dam for 3 hours . Not one bite . All the ice is gone . Talked to one guy that was trolling and two others that were fishing off the bank . No one had a bite . The river is clear and low to Morgans Bridge .

My brother drove up that road 2 weeks ago . All the roads are open . Even Trail Creek , I heard that one is rough . Talked to a guy that pulled a boat over it Monday .

That guy must not think much of his boat to pull a boat up all that gravel roads. I will take the extra time and fuel to go around to the Soda end.

I have a friend who took his VW Beetle up there three days ago from Idaho Falls via the Bone road and ran into a deep drift that he couldn't get through not far from the lake. He said trucks had made it through and had plowed the snow down a bit with their undercarriages, but there was no way he could make it through with his little car. May be clear by now but that was three days ago.

Stuck in a 5 foot drift a week and a half ago or so. Road had not been opened then. Might be plowed and open now Not taking a chance on the bone road until someone I know tells me its passable.

Roads are dry and dusty and they are catching some nice fish.
