I made the loop around west mnt this morning and in Goshen bay, the carp were rolling like crazy. The most activity was south of the big gravel pit in the reeds. They were tearing it up. I caught 2 white bass and headed for the house.

[#0000FF]I just got home from a trip to Lindon. The carp are getting frisky along the shoreline on both sides of the bubbleup too. Water temp was just bumping the underside of 65 at noon so they will be taking care of overdue business.

And here I thought that carp removal outfit was making a dent in those ugly bugle faced beauties.
Maybe they are, and we're just not noticing.

Bovine-- I was out there Tue., Wed, and Th. and could not find any carp activity?? Water temps never registered above 57 degrees so I assumed that to be the problem. Then again, maybe I need an eye exam.
I'll have a crew with me tomorrow and we will have a bow to use as needed. Fishin' has been good out by the island and should get better.
We still have that fishin' date with the kids. Probably best to wait until school is out? Whatever... anyway lookin' forward to it.
