Heading to Cascade for memorial weekend

Going to head up Friday morning and come back Monday. Praying for nice weather. We will be at Willow Creek camp ground just out of Donnaly. Really excited for a relaxing time away and hopefully some nice days fishing, maybe even catching. Hopeing to get over to Little Payatte for a day or so as well.

Just got to the cabin in cascade. Got a buddy heading up in the a.m. with his boat. we'll also be hoping for some catching. We did really well a couple weeks ago.

did well today 5-17. finally found them in weed beds in 10 feet of water. used slimmy worms all day. all in the 11 to 14 inch range. More 11 ish. not to bad of a day.

Was out yesterday, 5-16. Fished from bank and left the boat at home due to reports of wind and the experience we had in the wind up there a couple weeks ago. Long story short, we started at crown point and made our way around the lake with no luck. Decided to check out blue heron and ended up finding some fish about 2 pm. Kept about 30 10-11 inchers and a few 12's . Didn't keep or catch any larger than 12. Nice day to just be out. It's beautiful up there right now!
