Far better than expected. Went up there mostly for a 2-hr season-opener look-see. Smallest Mem Day wkend crowd ever....some sailboaters, a few tuna boats and only two skiers. Difficult fishing with north wind whitecaps carrying all the shoreline dead grass & debris back out into the main lake, and it was rare to retrieve a cast without a matted mess. But I got some fat & sassy 13-14" smallies off the 4 spots I tried from 11:30-1:30pm. Half of them were a squirtin'. Water temps 54-56, and clear to 4' away from the mudlines. Nice to see some of the new growth greenery already submerged.
