If you're into Kokanee fishing, Lucky Peak is starting to show some nice fish. Although I couldn't hook one, my wife landed a nice limit. I was reduced to boating a couple of small trout. I find it amazing that you can fish 5 feet from someone and toss everything in the tackle box out there but unless you have what those buggers want, it's a no go! Fish averaged 15 inches .... all caught in front of Spring Shores. Pink Mack's Flashlite troll with a pink hoochie was the ticket ..... too bad I only had one in the tackle box.

I bet one may hits we are at the lake once a week chasing them, Going up Sunday morning. Take and smoke them then put on a little cayanne pepper and honey on them. Probably best food ever. I will post how it went

Yep, ate one and smoked the rest. I don't think there is a better fish to smoke.

Lots of boats like always, windy in the morning caught 2 fat 16" and one trout had to come back early due to kicker motor problems. Fished by the dam not many fish showing on the fish finder.
