I'd love to take your survey if there was a way to do it without filling out my profile.

You never know what they might do. Last year I suggested they put bass and sunfish in Wellsville dam and by heck they're in there now. There's always hope.

Absolutely and I am not taking anything away from the DWR.
My suggestion however, is so simple it gets a little frustrating.
But, according to my latest pm, it is just a case of miss understanding. Thanks Paul.
And for the record, my request was to make Treble Hooks illegal on C&R waters with protected species. Still open to lures and flies, just no trebles.
Barbless would be nice, but only benefits in the "handling" of the fish.

Done.
It's good to see things like this from the DWR.
It shows that they are trying to keep in touch with the anglers.
I asked for the world. I suggested a new warm water hatchery.

I'm sure you do, otherwise you wouldn't be requesting it: Do you have any specific examples of C&R waters with protected species that currently suffer high mortality due to treble hooks?
Interestingly enough, Kolob Reservoir is suffering from the opposite. Even with bait allowed for half the year, fish populations are still too high! That place could actually benefit from some additional mortality. Maybe we could get a mandatory "dual treble hook" regulation in place up there?

Maybe PBH. I had Little Dell in mind. Kind of an Oxymoron saying don't keep the protected Cutthroat, but Treble hook has an unnecessary mortality issue.
However, I hear that the Brookies in the river need to be controlled.
All in all, I have no complaints with the fishing in Utah. I do feel we are ahead of the game on some issues.
Keep up the "concerned" good work.
