This is my first post. I am a novice but fishing is one of my favorite things to do.
Went to Willard Bay with Wiperhunter 2 and my nephew last night. We got on the water about 5:00 pm and finished around 8:30pm.
With Wiperhunter 2's help I was able to catch my first walleye and my first wiper. The wiper was 21 inches long. (One of the biggest fish of my life) The walleye was 19 in. long. Overall we caught about 12 fish total (mainly wipers). This was a first for my nephew also. So FUN.
Trolling in a boat is something I am not used to but I learned a lot from a patient teacher. Thanks Wiperhunter 2.
My best fishing experiences are .....
1. Catching a 35 lb king salmon in Alaska (4 years ago)
2. Catching 45 little bass on Mantua in one day (10 years ago)
3. Catching a monster Wiper and Walleye on Willard (last night)
I am thankful for the experience and for those who are willing to help out other fisherman and fisherwomen.
I am also excited to try my first walleye and wiper for dinner tonight.
Hope my husband and kids like them[]
