I'm Brian and I don't like to call myself a fisherman, I don't feel worthy of the title but most others say that I am. I will be the first to admit that I'm a little unorthodox in my style.
I generally don't fish for a specific species. I admire certain aspects of all fish and enjoy seeing each fish I catch, especially the different varieties of colorful sun perch. My single favorite fish is the rockbass although I have spent my life calling them Black Perch.
My favorite fish to target is stream smallmouth bass and muskie but its hard to match the enjoyment I get when I land a nice rainbow.
I get bored sometimes and I like to offer any knowledge and opinions to any that may be interested. I don't like to revive old threads but I may offer my opinions on a select few.
I look forward to conversation and learning also.

Thank you both for the welcoming. I am from and currently fish the most in Kentucky although growing up I fished Tennessee a lot. My grandad lived in Florida and i spent time fishing with my aunt's family in southern Louisiana although I got the "black perch" from my other grandpa who was originally from the Appalachians.

Thanks. I will check them out. Maybe I need to talk about how bad the fishing is in my state, that way people will stay out my fishing holes lol :-)
