Going down to boulder mountain for a couple days next week for some fishing/hiking what are the must have flies other than leech patterns. I have been trying to research as much as possible but any help would be appreciated.[cool][fishin]

Size 8 scuds. You'll have to tie your own.

+1 to big scuds add some flash too. Also some small mayflies and mosquito patterns for dries. And don't forget ant and beetle fly patterns.

Ant patterns also work really well in the high mountains. I just got back from the Uinta's and the fish were full of small ants, both red and black. Although the red ones were larger.
