Hello, LONG time lurker, first time poster. (Couldn't find the introduction forum, but I've been here about three years attending a blue University in Provo, don't wanna disclose too much more for fear that I won't get help from my pals up to the north).
I'm trying to figure out the Walleyes there at Deer Creek. I bought myself a boat recently, and have been trolling all over the place like a madman. I've gathered from forum searches that the rocks on the west shoreline are the place to be, and that bottom bouncers and Rapala's should be working... am I missing something? I grew up in Minnesota and remember drifting leeches on Mille Lacs with my old man, but these Utah Walleye are decidedly different! I know I shouldn't expect hot fishing or multiple hookups, but is a few fish once in a while too much to ask? []
Thanks for the help gents. I really enjoy this forum and look forward to getting to know you all better.
