Hey don't know how many of you buy stuff with warranties and wonder if the company will really stand behind it... Well just wanted to give a pat on the back to Lew's for great customer service... I bought a rod/reel combo last spring and it was pretty expensive for me, and since it was really nice it moved into my go to rod including catfish trips... Well.... my nephew was fishing with me and as he was lifting a channel cat out of the water, before I could get there to help him, the tip broke off the rod... I was sort of crushed, but tried not to take it out on my 8 year old nephew and bit my tounge so I didn't ruin his fishing experience... Anyway I contacted Lew's and told them what happened and they were great, sent me a new rod tip section and it was painless, no crazy hoops to jump through..... So just wanted to give them a cheers for being great.... Later J

That's great!
While we're pimping good service, CADDIS Wading Systems also has great customer service. I destroyed my wading boots in less than 6 months and they happily sent me a new, upgraded pair.
Unfortunately, the upgraded pair already has issues. I suppose you'd better have great customer service if your products can't hold their own.
The Creek Company makes the fins I really like for my float tube. The rubber strap snapped on mine, just 4 trips into my new pair and instead of making me pay $10 for a new pair of straps, they sent me two new pairs and two new buckles, since the strap issue sort of caused the buckle to get lost.
Bravo to Lew's, CADDIS, and The Creek Company.

It makes me more willing to buy from a company if you know they will stand behind it. Thanks for pointing out other great suppliers. Creek has been good to me as well. Later J

I'm not familiar with Lew's??? But on the topic of excellent customer service, I have to throw Fish Tech in here. It is not related to returns(as I haven't really had to return anything) but you can't beat the knowledge and service these great guys provide. And on that note I encourage all to support them rather than always getting the best deal on the internet when at all possible. I know it is tempting and for some the best deal rules their wallets, but you will never receive the benefits of online companies that you will get from in person service. So I just encourage all to support them as much as your circumstances allow.
