[left]Just bought a used Hydro Swift and want to get it out this fall and was wondering if you can you still launch at Willard? Just a 16' deep V. Also is there anything special I need to be aware of other than low water?
Thanks.

Welcome to the site. It would be best to launch from the North marina and having a depth finder will help. When launching from the North marina, do not go East from the ramp, you can tie up to the dock by the ramp on the West side of the ramp and going out the channel is ok, just make sure you go out 100 yds or more before turning left or right.

Welcome aboard, hey you probably know this, but make sure you have your invasive species forms and all the required boat goodies so the enforcers can't ruin your trip. Much better to cover all the requirements than to have problems. Keeps you safe too. Don't know if you know about the island over on the south side, but it can tear things up if it is still verily submerged and not visible too high speed boats. I haven't been out for a couple months so it might be sticking out by now. Anyway have fun. J

Welcome to BFT! Listen to wh2 and those that have been out there. It's very shallow in places.

[left]Thanks guys for the information. This is my first boat and my son and his two boys are going with me tomorrow for the maiden voyage, I hope it is a good one. I'll post back if there are any noteworthy happenings.
